Dalai Lama to visit Maui on April 24 and 25

Update: The 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, event was moved to the 20,000-seat War Memorial Stadium after the Maui Arts & Cultural Center was sold out. The stadium is located at 1580 Kaahumanu Ave., Wailuku.

THE MAUI Dharma Center will host His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama on Maui, on April 24 and 25 at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center. The Dalai Lama, the world’s most prominent spiritual leaders, will share his views on how the human experience can be enriched by developing a good heart.

The public is invited to attend and welcome the Dalai Lama with the gracious tradition of aloha. At 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, he will give a free talk, "The Human Approach to World Peace." From 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25, he will deliver a commentary, "Eight Verses for Training the Mind." Admission to the Wednesday event is $25. Click here for more information.
