Mental Health Month Mahalo Awards coming May 3

The Mental Health Association of Hawai‘i will celebrate Mental Health Month in May  with a second annual Mental Health Mahalo Awards Luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 3, at the Japanese Cultural Center.

The event will celebrate community leaders and agencies who have worked to reduce the stigma of mental illness and improve care and treatment of people with mental illness through positive, effective and innovative programs and leadership in the mental health community.
