Longs Drug Stores raise $1 million for Make-A-Wish

Over the course of two years, Longs Drug Stores raised a total of $1 million for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the company announced last month. Based in Walnut Creek, Calif., the retail drug store chain said the donations helped grant wishes of 150 children with life-threatening illnesses on the West Coast and Hawai‘i. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of America, based in Phoenix, received the donations.
