The Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement will hold its seventh annual Native Hawaiian Convention from Sept. 29 to Oct. 2 at the Hawai`i Convention Center. The CNHA event is the largest gathering of organizations, policy makers, legislative representatives and federal agencies in Native Hawaiian community development.
The convention will feature luncheons, banquets, keynote addresses and breakout sessions on issues related to education, housing, economic development, land access and self determination. Attendees will network with hundreds of community-based organizations, funders, businesses and government agencies, learn new skills and build organizational capacity and “shape a united social and economic justice policy agenda for our communities,” CNHA said.
Contact CNHA for more information about convention packages, daily rates and scholarships. There will be three days of plenary sessions, luncheons and breakout sessions and daily convention rates are available for each day’s plenary session, luncheon and breakout sessions. A limited number of scholarships are available.
