Habitat to select 31 families for Leeward Oahu subdivision

Habitat for Humanity Leeward Oahu is beginning the family-selection process for their 31-home subdivision which will become available in September. Leeward Habitat partners with low-income families who are ready for the responsibility and challenges of homeownership, but would not qualify for a traditional mortgage.

Agencies that are aware of families who reside on the Leeward Coast that may be interested in applying for a Habitat home can suggest they attend one of these information sessions:

  • March 10, 5 to 7 p.m., Kamehameha Schools Community Learning Center at Nanakuli, 89-101 Farrington Hwy., Waianae
  • March 15, 10 a.m. to noon, Waianae District Park, Multipurpose Room, 85-601 Farrington Hwy., Waianae
  • March 24, 5 to 7 p.m., Kamehameha Schools Community Learning Center at Nanakuli, 89-101 Farrington Hwy., Waianae
