Ward Centers presents a fundraising opportunity

Ward Centers is offering nonprofit organizations and school groups an opportunity to raise money for their causes, Friends+Family+Community ReWARDS weekend, April 24-26. Participating nonprofits can sell tickets for the event beginning in mid-February and keep 100 percent of their ticket proceeds.

The $5 tickets give shoppers exclusive discounts and special offers from participating Ward Centers shops and restaurants just in time for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and graduation. “Due to the state of the economy, we know that fundraising for nonprofits has become more challenging,” said Diane Bruce, marketing manager, Ward Centers. “We invite Hawaii’s charitable organizations to take advantage of this fundraising opportunity.”

Friends+Family+Community ReWARDS is Ward Centers’ second major fundraiser for local charities and school groups – the first was the Festival of Giving. Besides discounts and special offers, shoppers with a ReWARDS ticket will enjoy free family activities, gift-with-purchase and enter-to-win prizes.
