The foundation's primary criteria include improving women and children's access to the legal system; reducing child abuse, domestic violence and sexual abuse; increasing financial independence; and improving the health, education and welfare of women and children.
Hawaii Women’s Legal Foundation, formerly the Hawaii Women Lawyers Foundation, focuses on women’s issues and solutions that empower women in Hawaii by supporting projects that benefit women and children in the exercise of their legal rights, and to empower women in the legal profession.
