The Giftberry Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing free web-based services to qualified charities, schools, and supporting business participants to automate and manage fund-raising and administrative tasks with a goal to make the fund-raising process as convenient, simple, and economical as possible.

The foundation is supported through corporate donations, grants, sponsorships and individual gifts that cover the costs of all our online services, and its current 0 percent credit card fee offer for MasterCard and Visa transactions under $1,000.

After nearly three years of programming, Giftberry.org emerged in January of 2009, with about eight charities using the site. Nearly one year later, over 800 charity members were using its services and had scheduled more than 300 charity and school fundraising events in 2010.

Giftberry says it is the only platform providing charities and schools free online fundraising, administration and transaction capabilities and 0 percent MasterCard and Visa for online transactions under $1,000, allowing a significantly higher amount of the proceeds to go directly to the organization. Other providers charge 4 to 9 percent of the donation.
