Nancy Partika, executive director of Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies will be leave that organization in mid-June to join the faculty of the University of Hawaii-Manoa in the Department of Public Health Sciences, John A. Burns School of Medicine, where she becomes program director for the MCH Certificate Program. If HMHB has not hired a new ED by June 15, Kari Wheeling will serve as interim ED.
Kathryn Matayoshi, CEO of Commuity Links Hawaii, will leave in May to assume the reins at the Hawaii Business Roundtable, but remain on the board of CCH. Her successor, she said, will focus on getting the word out about CCH programs and bringing in new projects and partners, fundraising and working with current client agencies on administrative, strategic and other planning issues.
John Kreag started work in early April as executive director of Maui Economic Concerns of the Community Inc. Kreag was most recently chief financial officer of Blue Hawaiian Helicopters. He also was treasurer of Maui Land & Pineapple Co. and served as comptroller of its pineapple subsidiary and of Alexander & Baldwin's Maui sugar division.
