State publishes updated Community Stewardship Directory

The Hawaii Community Stewardship Directory has been updated for 2009 and is available online. The update includes 90 community-based organizations doing work in Hawaii.

The directory is an ongoing effort of the Hawaii Coastal Zone Management Program to help community groups and organizations connect to share experiences and lessons learned in natural and cultural resource management. The directory is one element of the Hawaii Ocean Resources Management Plan, which promotes place, culture and community-based approaches to natural and cultural resource management.
