Grassroots faith-based or community nonprofit organizations that help struggling people prepare for, obtain and retain employment can apply for valuable training in results management and from putting to use a new data management system to measure, manage and communicate results.
If your organization works in workforce development and has a strong desire to improve how it provides workforce-related services to the community, the U.S. Department of Labor encourages you to apply for Results-Based Management Training provided by the USDL's Center for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives. If selected, two staff from your local nonprofit organization will be invited to attend one of four three-day training conferences:
Workshop participants will be provided with training and a year's free subscription for evaluation and reporting software, a value of more than $2,000. There is a registration fee of $100 per person that will be returned when the workshop is completed.
