AFP names honorees for National Philanthropy Day

The Association of Fundraising Professionals, Aloha Chapter, has announced the individuals and organizations it will honor at the 2007 National Philanthropy Day luncheon on Friday, Nov. 16, at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel. AFP presents these awards to those that have been nominated and selected by a committee in recognition for their community service. They are:

• Outstanding Philanthropist: Violet and the late Paul Loo
• Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser: Ozella P. Mabson
• Outstanding Corporation: Kraft Foods Hawaii
• Outstanding Small Business: Olomana Marketing, LLC 

This year, the NPD Conference and Awards luncheon are to be held on three islands over four days:

• Hilo, Hawai‘i Island, 8:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at University of Hawaii at Hilo
• Wailuku, Maui, 7:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at Maui Community College
• Honolulu, Oahu, 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15 and 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel
