Participants sought for pay, benefits surveys

Abbott, Langer Association Surveys has now opened its 2009 Nonprofit Surveys for participating organizations and questionnaires are now available. The company seeks data on nonprofit compensation and benefits, which can be used to meet IRS requirements on setting executive pay rates and to insure organizations can compete successfully in recruiting and retaining employees.

There is no cost to participate in the surveys and, in return for their data input, the company will send participants a free copy of the executive summary from the survey in which they participate and they will qualify for a 50 percent discount on the final, complete survey report, a savings up to $344.50.

The deadline to submit data is March 31, 2009. The completed surveys will be released on July 1, 2009. Nonprofits can participate in two ways:

• Hardcopy -- Go to www.abbott-langer.com, click on the Participate tab, select the survey or surveys of interest and print the PDF documents. After filling out the forms, they can be mailed to Abbott, Langer Association Surveys, 1725 I Street NW, Suite 300, Washington, DC 20006.
• Email -- Go to www.abbott-langer.com, click on the Participate tab, select the survey or surveys of interest and download the MS Excel documents. After completion, email the survey questionnaire to info@abbott-langer.com.
