Ward Center festival supports local nonprofits

People can get a head start on holiday shopping and help local nonprofits and community organizations by purchasing tickets to Ward Centers’ “Festival of Giving” weekend, Nov. 6-8.

The $10 tickets give shoppers exclusive discounts and special offers from more than 100 participating shops and restaurants throughout Ward Centers. Nonprofit groups participating in Ward Centersپf Festival of Giving are currently selling tickets, and the organizations will keep 100 percent of their ticket proceeds. Tickets may be purchased through any of the participating nonprofits, as well as at ticket counters at Ward Centers during the Festival of Giving weekend. Select Ward Centers’ merchants will also be selling tickets to benefit a charity of their choosing. Special offers during Festival of Giving include:

Festival of Giving is a major fundraiser for many local charities and school groups. Last year’s event drew thousands of shoppers and raised a record $96,830 for 75 nonprofits.
