Non Profit Times launches online television webcasts

The Non Profit Times has expanded on its print publication adding a free, bi-weekly internet broadcast in television format available on personal computers, iPads, iPhones and Blackberry smartphones.  The program includes the latest news and information from the nonprofit sector.

Topics presented in the 10-minute show include finance, fundraising, human resources and jobs, nonprofit legal issues, management, online giving and volunteer management. The Oct. 20 installment, for example, included pieces on mobile phone apps, nonprofits fueling Detroit’s comeback, and how investments in advocacy can reap a 150 to 1 return, plus tips of the week, fast facts and a video marketplace.

The show is available at http://nonprofittimes.tv, a web site that includes the latest webcast and an archive and video library of past shows that are easily searchable by category and topic. Entire shows can be streamed or downloaded for easy viewing on mobile devices or individual story segments can be found and played one at a time. In addition, users can subscribe to automatically download future shows using iTunes or RSS feeds.
