“The elegance of historical Laniakea YWCA lends itself perfectly to any event and boasts a unique selection of rooms and spaces to accommodate groups from 5 to 150,” says the YWCA of Oahu, which has begun to market its choice downtown location and renovated facilities to nonprofits.
The facility, “an oasis in downtown Honolulu” is at 1040 Richards St. It offers a range of room sizes and types, even an outdoor courtyard, for conferences, fundraisers, meetings, weddings, graduation night and pool parties. Café Laniakea is temporarily unavailable during renovations, but will reopen in summer 2008. Meanwhile, catering services are still available.
