ASAE & The Center launches online leadership course

ASAE & The Center for Association Leadership will launch a new web-based leadership self-study course The Compelling Leader on Oct. 27. The six-week course covers six fundamental principles of leadership focusing on fostering trust, sharing vision, developing strategy, building and energizing alliances, activating transformation and measuring results.

The course is specifically geared towards association executives at all levels of experience and their stakeholders who want to develop their leadership skills and expand their knowledge of association leadership and management. Level I is designed for individuals with little or no knowledge of the areas covered; Level II is for individuals with general knowledge of the literature and professional practice; and Level III is for middle management and experienced professionals. Participants can access the online course at any time throughout the six weeks.
