HANO's online Job Bank has become supercharged

HANO has a new partnership with JobTarget, an industry leader in job board development and management, to upgrade our online Job Bank. New and improved features now make it easier for Hawaii nonprofit employers to find good, eligible, highly qualified candidates looking for jobs in the local nonprofit sector.

“We’re really excited to have partnered with JobTarget. They will be able to give Hawaii nonprofits the most effective job search and recruiting capabilities available,” said Lisa Maruyama, HANO president and CEO.

JobTarget’s software provides employers and job seekers the latest technology in recruiting and career development. It is both a state-of-the-art search engine to find job openings and a powerful tool for employers seeking employees.

One of Job Bank's many features is the ability to tap a much larger candidate pool. It gives employers exceptional access to the Hawaii nonprofit community and each job posting will reach both active and passive highly skilled job seekers.  HANO's new Job Bank also offers job broadcasting, an option to include company profiles and logos with postings, and a pay-per-use resume bank.

JOB SEEKERS: You now have a powerful, tool to connect with nonprofit employers and recruiters. You can both search for openings and anonymously post your resume for free for employers to seek you out. You can find jobs at Hawaii nonprofits that fit your career development goals, set up personal job alerts or just post your resume and have employers come to you.

EMPLOYERS: You are now able not just to post jobs but to browse for free resumes of potential candidates looking for a job like the one you seek to fill. If you find a good prospect, you can notify the candidate of your interest. If the candidate is interested also, there is a connection fee of $25. If the candidate is not interested, there's no charge.

As a recruiter, you can create an account, post and manage your job openings, search and manage job candidates, browse for qualified candidates, create a company profile and more. For smaller nonprofits without HR staff, this can be particularly helpful. For larger operations, the HANO Job Bank is an affordable recruitment tool that specifically targets the Hawaii nonprofit sector.

For each 30-day job posting, the cost to HANO member employers is $25 and to non-members $50 -- typical online job sites charge employers more that $200 for a 30-day posting. The value provided by HANO's new Job Bank far outweighs the cost.

All job postings already on the HANO Job Bank have been moved to the new JobTarget-powered website at no charge for 30 days.
