Nominees sought for outstanding youth advocates awards

As part of Hawaii’s Children and Youth Month, Hawaii Food Alliance, McDonald’s Restaurant and Hawaii Children’s Trust Fund will honor Hawaii’s Outstanding Advocates for Children and Youth during a 15th annual luncheon to be held Monday, Oct. 18, at Washington Place.

Recommendations are being sought of individuals, corporations or other organizations  that have demonstrated notable achievements in children and youth advocacy during the past year.  A committee will choose the outstanding advocates from among the nominations.

If you know of a person or organization deserving this recognition, please take the time to submit a nomination form and/or a nomination letter. Please include:

  • A short written description of your nominee’s special advocacy efforts performed on behalf of Hawaii’s children and youth
  • A short explanation of why this recognition is deserved.
  • Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number and email address
  • Your nominee’s name, address and telephone number.  

Nominations may be mailed, faxed or emailed and must be received by the deadline of 4 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 4.  For more information on Hawaii’s Children and Youth Month, please check out our website at www.kipchawaii.org/children.
