Dealing with social media’s impact on employment law

Employees who spend their working hours tweeting or who criticize their boss on their Facebook page at home at night can cause a lot of problems for their nonprofit employers. A webinar presented by the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations will explore the emerging issues of employee discipline in the new age of social media. What should an employer be concerned about? What policies should an employer adopt? And how does an employer manage risk?

The session will be held from 7:30 to 11 a.m., Hawaii Time, on Wednesday, Oct. 12. The presenter will be Don Kramer, an attorney with Montgomery, McCracken and the editor of Nonprofit Issues.
