The 2008 HPCA Annual Conference and Quality Summit builds on the momentum generated last year by gathering a diverse group of community health professionals, organizations, and public policy advocates to further analyze and strengthen Hawai‘i's health care safety net. The meetings will begin at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 9 and conclude at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11, at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort, 2005 Kalia Rd., Honolulu.
This year’s speakers challenge the conventional thinking about the different strands of community health development and management, helping leaders, practitioners, and administrators to better understand the complex and interwoven nature of the many issues in our system of care.
The conference will provide two full days of keynote, plenary and workshop discussions, followed by a full day of Community Health Center Board of Directors training. It is for executive management, CFOs, medical directors, quality improvement managers, primary care staff, behavioral health providers, public health departments, policy planners, and health center board members.
The conference is an opportunity to participate in the many diverse activities at the conference and network with key contacts from public, private and government organizations.
