Where to post your fundraisers, galas and events

HANO’s web pages announce workshops, webinars and conferences of interest to nonprofits, but we often receive requests to publicize fundraisers and banquets. Since our audience is primarily other nonprofits not the general public, we don’t attempt to list fundraisers, however, although we occasionally include those that are innovative and might be of interest to other nonprofits planning events. There is another option, however.  

Hawai‘i Community Foundation offers the Nonprofit Event Planner: A Registry of Charitable Events in Hawai‘i on its web site. The Event Planner features all types of events from black-tie galas to training workshops and is designed to be the one-stop place for nonprofits to check out the events around town as well as to post their own.

HCF is seeking events scheduled for September through December 2008. If your organization has any such events planned during this timeframe, or anytime in 2008, please visit the Nonprofit Event Planner page to post your event. When submitting events, please include the following:

• Title of Event
• Date
• Time Start
• Time End
• Island
• Event Type
• Location of Event
• Cost
• Benefitting Organization
• Chairperson
• Event URL
• Description
