Apply now for Americans for the Arts scholarship

The NABE Foundation, the charitable arm of the National Association for Business Economics, will award its third annual Americans for the Arts scholarship to encourage the integration of the arts into economic education. Americans for the Arts is the nation's leading nonprofit organization for advancing the arts in America. 

The successful recipient will receive a $5,000 award. Click here to download an application. The deadline for applications is Sept. 13. 

Applicants must demonstrate a long term participation in the study of, creation or performance in one or more art forms, such as dance, music, theatre, literary, or visual and media arts. They must come from economically disadvantaged households, have attended public school, participated in extracurricular programs including or in addition to programs supported by the Americans for the Arts, excelled academically and formally declare the intent to study and apply economics in their pursuit of higher education and professional career.
