Fundraising opportunity: Ward Centers Festival of Giving

The Ward Centers in Honolulu offers local nonprofit organizations an opportunity to raise money by selling tickets for Festival of Giving, a three-day shopping event Nov. 12 to 14.  The $10 tickets give shoppers discounts and special offers from more than 100 participating shops and restaurants throughout Ward Centers. 

Nonprofit groups participating in Ward Centers’ Festival of Giving will begin selling tickets in September, and the organizations will keep 100 percent of their ticket proceeds.  More than 100 nonprofit groups participated in the Festival of Giving last year. The event drew thousands of shoppers and raised a record $121,460. 

Besides discounts and special offers, shoppers with Festival of Giving tickets receive free gift-wrapping, entertainment, enter-to-win shopping sprees, a gift with purchase and more.
