HTA offers grants for Maui community-based programs

The Hawaii Tourism Authority and the County of Maui are soliciting proposals for tourism enrichment programs in 2011 under the HTA’s County Product Enrichment Program, which fosters community-based events and activities that celebrate Hawaii's people, culture and history. HTA and the County of Maui released the 2011 CPEP request for proposals on Sept. 1. The application deadline is Oct. 11. Maui will host a workshop on the criteria and application process from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, in the Multipurpose Room on the second floor of the Pilina Building, UH Maui College, 310 Kaahumanu Ave., Kahului.
