KHPR to air discussion of nonprofits, economy

Hawaii Public Radio will air a discussion focusing on the state of Hawaii nonprofits in the troubled economy featuring Kelvin Taketa and Michael Titterton at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 9 on KHPR and again at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11 on KIPO.

The one-hour "Business of the Arts" program will also be available thereafter on the KHPR website as a podcast.  The program's host, Bob Sandla, and Hawaii Community Foundation CEO Taketa will talk about many of the key nonprofit issues covered at the Foundation's Board Leadership Conference on Oct. 1 and talk briefly about the current state of Hawaii's nonprofits in the face of a crazy economy.
