Melissa Miyashiro

President and CEO

Melissa Miyashiro is President & CEO at HANO and has devoted her career to uplifting purpose-driven, people-focused solutions to humanity’s most pressing challenges. Prior to HANO, Melissa held several positions, including Executive Director, at Blue Planet Foundation—a nonprofit focused on advancing climate change solutions through advocacy and community engagement. She received a law degree from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and is also a proud graduate of Cohort I of the HANO Fellows program.
