Raquel Kealalōkahi Aki joins HANO as the Operations Manager, bringing more than 15 years of experience in executive administration, governance, program operations, and organizational support across Hawaiʻi’s corporate, nonprofit, and government sectors. Guided by kuleana and rooted in aloha ʻāina, Raquel is committed to strengthening systems, cultivating pilina, and supporting work that uplifts Hawaiʻi’s people, communities, and ʻāina. She concurrently serves as Program Manager for the ʻŌiwi Leadership Accelerator Program under People Strategies Hawaiʻi and previously supported the East-West Center’s Board of Governors as the Corporate Secretary. A Kānaka Maoli business owner, Raquel is the founder of Accelerating Kuleana Initiatives, AKI LLC, and serves on the boards of The Papahānaumokuākea Marine Debris Project, Inc. and Pulse Oceania. She lives in the ʻEwa moku of Oʻahu and is a proud mom of three keiki, Rylee, Rielle, and Kelia.
