Bankruptcy 101 Training with Bradley R. Tamm, Esq. – submitted by Volunteer Legal Services Hawai‘i (VLSH)

Mr. Tamm’s bankruptcy practice began in 1995, and spans more than 1,000 cases; initially representing consumer debtors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases, and since 2005 focused on representation of bankruptcy trustees. In 2015, Mr. Tamm entered semi-retirement, and now only represents the Chapter 13 Standing Trustee on a part-time basis and a regular volunteer attorney at VLSH clinics.

He also serves as outside general counsel to the Disciplinary Board of the Hawai‘i Supreme Court advising in professional/ attorney ethics. Licensed in both Hawai‘i (active) and California (inactive); admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal, U.S. Tax Court, U.S. Court of International Trade, and U.S. Courts for the District of Hawai‘i, Central-Eastern-Southern Districts of California.

Attorneys will receive a basic training, including but not limited to:

  • providing general advice and counsel to VLSH clients;
  • fee waivers;
  • judgment proof clients; and
  • filing Chapter 7 Bankruptcy petitions

CLE CREDIT

VLSH is a Hawaii Accredited CLE Provider.
Attorneys will receive 1.0 CLE credits upon completing pro bono opportunities through VLSH.
