Your registration includes both webinars. These webinars were recorded live on Nov. 26 (Part I) and Dec. 10 (Part II), 2018 and will be made available to you as recordings to view on-demand, at your convenience.
Presenting Data Effectively: Part 1
Crystal clear charts and graphs are valuable – they save an audience’s mental energies, keep a reader engaged, and make you look smart. In the first webinar of this series, you will learn the undeniable science behind high impact visuals and presenting data effectively. We’ll walk through Dr. Evergreen’s Four Step Visualization Process to structure efforts at making visuals. This process includes developing the right message for your audience and choosing the best chart form to display the visual evidence that backs your message. During the first webinar, we will cover some basic chart types (done well), easy ways to enhance a table, and how you can leverage easy to learn design skills to sharpen up the point in the visual. You’ll take away guidelines, simple strategies and examples that will help you better represent your quality data in visual form.
Presenting Data Effectively: Part 2
In the second webinar, we’ll briefly recap lessons from Part 1, and then quickly move on to exploring more complex chart types. Often times, the best chart type to highlight a particular story is not a default graph in Excel. This webinar will introduce new chart forms and go behind-the-scenes in Excel to demonstrate how to easily make high impact charts out of the given chart choices. Attendees will be provided access to step-by-step directions after the webinar so they can master data visualization in Excel. We will conclude the webinar by touching on smart slide and report design so that your entire reporting package looks as professional as you are.
