SPEAKER: Harry Uhane Jim was born and raised on Kaua‘i. He is trained in the traditional apprentice style by well-known kahunas from the last seven decades. Author of Wise Secrets of Aloha and kahuna for Halau Uhane Lomilomi Lapaa‘u, Harry has lectured for Kamehameha Schools and other schools and organizations across the U.S.A. and Canada. He is a father of five and teaches, works, and lives with his wife, Sila, in Pahoa.

This event is part of Ku’ikahi Mediation Center‘s free brown bag lunch series, “Finding Solutions, Growing Peace,” held monthly on Third Thursdays from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney at 655 Kilauea Avenue in Hilo. Each month an invited speaker presents a different topic. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lunch, enjoy an informal and educational talk-story session, and meet others interested in “Finding Solutions, Growing Peace.”
