Nonprofit Support Services

HANO is providing nonprofit support services in the form of Maui membership relief, Career Center fee waivers, Grant Support and other various services and benefits.

HANO provides support for nonprofits seeking to expand their capacity during this time, or help displaced individuals find jobs by waiving fees for nonprofits posting opportunities in our Career Center. If you would like to post a job opening in our Career Center, the coupon code to enter at checkout is Maui100. This is for nonprofits only and for the 30-day basic posting. Mahalo to YM Careers, our partner, for their support! View current job openings here.

HANO offers renewing Maui nonprofit members the option to pay what they can. If you are interested in obtaining membership fee relief please contact Ashley Galacgac at info@hano-hawaii.org.

Similar to our GTAS program but focused at the state, NOT federal level, this program is open to Hawaiʻi nonprofits, including Kamehameha Schools’ partners, who are interested in applying to local trusts and foundations for grants to support their missions.  Eligible applicants should already have a specific foundation and project in mind before they apply.

Services that may be requested include grant writing support, coaching, application review, copy editing, or referral to other services outside of this program, depending on identified needs.  Learn more and apply for this pilot program here.

Services are provided FREE to participants and considered on a first come, first served basis for eligible applicants. Initial priority is given to emergency relief applications relating to the wildfires. Consideration of other applications are dependent on the number of applications we receive, the volume of services requested and funding availability.

Mahalo to The Freeman Foundation and Kamehameha Schools for their generous support of this pilot program!
